My husband is a Mediterranean fisherman, and through Denia Red Shrimpers, we share a behind-the-scenes look at life aboard a fishing boat, the local fishing industry, and the incredible seafood caught off our coast.

to the Mediterranean.
I grew up in Michigan, but Spain has been a big part of my life since I first came here as a student. I eventually met my husband, settled on the Mediterranean coast, and started a family.
Somewhere along the way, I went from working as a dentist to blogging about recipes, homemade cosmetics, and all sorts of DIY projects. It wasn’t exactly the career path I’d imagined, but I’ve always loved figuring out how things work and learning to make things myself.
These days, I spend my time juggling my websites, experimenting in the kitchen, and enjoying life here in Spain with my family.
